Samsung Galaxy S8 defines the huge success for Samsung, and now Galaxy Note 8 is ready to go on the same path and our question is will the Samsung able to achieve the similar results with the Samsung Galaxy S9? Let’s discover!
Samsung Galaxy S8 indeed a perfect smartphone, and fingerprint scanner position suffers a shortfall. We already anticipated that the mode of unlocking the cell with the fingerprint did not work well for us. So how do I usually unlock my cell phone? Although I have the iris recognition option configured, I usually use the unlock pattern. Every time I tried to unlock my cell phone with my eyes, it seemed like I was taking a ‘selfie.’ Something ridiculous and I cannot do in any public place (and less in my work). So, we expect some work in the Galaxy S9 to make it even more perfect.
A fail of the brand about the same subject is that with a photo of my face you can unlock the cell phone when you are in the facial recognition mode. The truth is that I have not tried, but the same brand recognized this error. Finally, Bixby, Samsung’s new smart assistant (equivalent to Siri on iPhone) is very strange. You cannot talk to him! It is an essential tool and I used it usually in the previous cell (iPhone), and I feel I have lost. Indeed, Samsung should make the Bixby useful in the Samsung Galaxy S9.
Should you Buy Galaxy S8 or Wait for S9?
I would buy it one and a thousand times more (if I were a millionaire, of course). It is a high-end phone, really a luxury. Although certain details do not convince me at all, I do not think there is a better team currently on the market. It is a beautiful, functional phone with an operating system that is more intuitive and faster than ever. But Samsung Galaxy S9 looks more impressive, and if I can wait then I would definitely pick the Galaxy S9.
The Galaxy S8, you will love it quickly. This is an important progress over previous generations, so I would recommend your purchase to any follower of Samsung who is not disappointed after the fiasco of Note 7. If you have an iPhone then wait. Patience is a virtue. It may take years trying to make the jump to a Samsung phone but stay in your ecosystem. Yes, the Galaxy S8 is a beauty, and its screen looks better, but remembers that this year will celebrate the tenth anniversary of the launch of the first iPhone and Apple is preparing several surprises. What could be the iPhone 8 will not be left behind and will step forward, who knows if overcoming the Galaxy. And, if you can wait then Samsung Galaxy S9 is the right thing to be waited for.
